Johnny King-Marino, DC, CCSP, CCSMS

Chiropractor

For more than four decades, Dr. John “Johnny” King-Marino has helped runners, endurance athletes, and active individuals recover from injuries and return to the activities they love.

Dr. King-Marino has been a leader in chiropractic and sports medicine for over 41 years, graduating in 1984 from the Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic. A Master-level practitioner in Graston Technique and Active Release Techniques (ART), he specializes in treating complex musculoskeletal injuries using advanced soft-tissue techniques combined with decades of clinical experience.

A lifelong athlete, Dr. Johnny was a three-time New Jersey State Champion in track and field before competing in Division I track and field at Cleveland State University. His interest in sports medicine began during his own competitive years, when he experienced running injuries and became frustrated by the difficulty of finding medical providers who truly understood and specialized in treating endurance athletes. That experience ultimately inspired him to pursue a career focused on helping athletes recover and perform at their best.

Dr. Johnny later became an accomplished endurance athlete, completing eight Ironman triathlons, qualifying twice for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, and representing Team USA in international triathlon competition. He is an eight-time All-American in triathlon and a five-time All-American Masters track and field athlete.

Over the course of his career, Dr. King-Marino has also provided care for multiple Olympians and World Champion athletes, including two World Champions and two Olympic Silver Medalists.

Locally, Dr. King-Marino remains active in the running community. A former two-time Bucks 5K Series Champion and two-time Age-Graded Masters Champion, he continues to compete in the USA Masters Track & Field circuit as well as in national and local road racing events.
